Manuscripts and archives
We have large collections of manuscripts and archives. Most of them are searchable online. Some of the special collections can only be searched in catalogues and other finding aids placed in the Special Collections Reading Room.
Alvin is a search portal for cultural heritage collections such as manuscripts, personal archives, images, maps and older printed material. Lund University Library is continually working on transferring our old card catalogues to Alvin.
The Manuscript Catalogue is Lund University Library's old card catalogue of manuscripts and archives (pre-1986). It includes a catalogue of personal letters.

Individual archives (personal archives, family archives and archives of associations and societies) at Lund University Library are all registered in Alvin. In cases where detailed archive lists exist, these can be found as an appendix to the relevant record.
