Portland Press/Biochemical Society
Researchers at Lund University can use agreements to publish open access with easy handling of the administrative processes and negotiated costs. Read more about the terms of the agreement here.
About the agreement
The agreement allows open access publishing in all journals from the Biochemical Society, published by Portland Press. Initially the cost of publishing is paid by the University Library.
The agreement covers all article types that have a publishing charge. The corresponding author must be affiliated with Lund University, and the affiliation must be stated in the article.
Articles are published under the license CC BY.

Publishing costs at Lund University
Parts of the costs of publishing, both within the agreements and those paid with the extra publishing support, are later invoiced to the faculties. Depending on how your faculty chooses to handle the costs, you may have to pay a part of the publication fee at a later stage.
